An interesting game and story, definitely not your typical gore-infested horror, this is very much an atmospheric game and the devs really pulled through. The game looks amazing, genuinely, I cannot complain about any of the visual elements or aesthetic. This is a really, really brilliant atmospheric experience. Things I liked: - Atmoshphere is an 11/10, really brilliant and immersive experience. - Graphics 11/10 - Audio 11/10 - World design 8.5/10 - Aesthetic style 8.5/10 - UI and Interactive elements 8.5/10 - Playtime 7/10 - Enemy design 6/10 - Story 6/10 Things I didn't like: - The robots don't feature enough in the game - The 'monster' doesn't really behave as described in the diaries and logs, I anticipated it would be more intelligent, following and stalking my character and something to keep an eye out for and maybe distract, get chased and flee or fight it off now and again. But instead it was relatively easy to avoid and ultimately ignore. Perhaps my experience of Amnesia: The Dark Descent is leaking through a bit here. - I wish we could use the C.A.T or have a pen, or even a pocket, to be able to quickly remember progression items. This is a very fun game. It is spooky though. 100% reccomend

IMHO, [h3]Routine[/h3] is [b]the best modern horror game out there[/b]. [hr][/hr] • [b]You[/b] Its biggest strength is, without a doubt, its immersion. The protagonist remains completely silent throughout the entire game. This makes it so much easier to project yourself into their shoes — after all, a silent protagonist means they could easily have your voice. There is absolutely no HUD. Instead of a health bar, you have a strict limit on how many hits you can take from enemies. Instead of an ammo counter, your multitool has a physical battery indicator on its side that you have to check manually. Tasks aren’t listed in a separate menu either; you rely on a wireless access point to check your current objective, saved passwords, media files, and user manuals for the tool and its upgrades. This manual, hands-on approach feels incredibly satisfying, even if it makes you a bit clumsy — which only amplifies the tension and horror. • [b]Style[/b] From the very first intro cinematic, the game confidently establishes its style, while a mysterious male voice leaves you with questions, forcing every player to interpret what they hear in their own way. I wish there was a sequel man! I'm eagerly anticipating whatever their next title is! You're looking at this game because you at least want a scary game of some kind . If that's your basis, then buy it. Don't wait for a discount. support them so they can make more! It's not creepy or weird or unnerving. It's a type of atmosphere that makes you understand that it can be real. And that believable angle, makes this good. Decent thrills and not cheesy or annoying. It's good. "Moons haunted." "Always has been" 7/10 Decent 1st person horror game, almost Silent Hill meets Alien: Isolation. Not quite my thing gameplaywise but worth it for the aesthetic and atmosphere.
