My number 1
no binding to arrow keys in big 2023 and it wasn't an issue at all for OT1 what the actual hell? someone thought yeah let's drop that for no reason and ship it. no other game i've ever played does this. and no dev comments to justify it useless
Probably one of the best JRPGs I've ever played, if the first one was already good this goes to masterpiece levels. GET IT BRO.
Octopath Traveler II takes everything that made the original great and refines it with smart new features. What I like the most so far: Latent Powers & Combat: The addition of Latent Powers adds a great new strategic layer to the already brilliant Break & Boost combat system. Day & Night Cycle: Every character now has two Path Actions (one for Day, one for Night). It adds variety, though switching between times can sometimes feel a bit tedious when waiting for a specific action. Exploration & Features: New traversal options like canoes, along with the inclusion of Shared Paths (crossed stories), make navigating the world feel more dynamic. Visuals & Atmosphere: The HD-2D art style and environmental design remain stunning and a joy to experience. If you enjoyed the first game, this is a worthy successor that expands on the formula while keeping its core strengths intact.
Probably best Octopath traveler, you already know if you will like this game.
