Very good and interesting game I have no idea why it has mixed reviews. I would totally recommend especially if you like games with lots of choices and endings :)

After playing for hours and getting to Chapter 5. Got hit with a softlock and i cannot get out of at all. In the Mill where you go into the small room and pick up some keys, Jaime and Linda are blocking the doorway causing you to get stuck. Looking on Reddit, Google, etc. this appears to be a common softlock within the game that somehow hasnt been patched 2 years after release of the game. Can't recommend a game that causes this that apparently hasnt been patched.

Non DbD players go play Dead by Daylight and come play this later. It's one of the weakest supermassive game, but it isn't as bad as some reviews make it. Whole story and the killer could have been so much better, if they would have used real DbD killer. Buy it from sale.

LET'S GET INTO IT. This game really was really good compared to what everyone here in the comments made it out to be. The story is really intriguing and the graphics could be amazing if they could just get the damn game optimized. I think if you enjoy story based, choices matter games, and this is one sale. genuinely the worst optimized game i've ever played. i bought it some time ago and tried running it on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 7 year old gaming laptop, couldn't run it well. "that's fine" i thought, i was upgrading anyways. the only time i got above a rare 30 frames was when i was looking at a corner with nothing in it. on average i was chugging along at maybe 15 fps. also the acting and dialogue drops off really hard after the prologue, for the 20 or so minutes i played after finishing it.
