Vestaria Saga I: War of the Scions

Vestaria Saga's cheap visuals and lackluster performance are sure to leave a terrible first impression and I won't blame anyone who will be immediately turned off because of those, but if you can look past the first impression you will find Vestaria Saga is not just a Fire Emblem clone, but actually surpasses most games in the series. Vestaria Saga is a brutally difficulty but excellently designed SRPG and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the old Fire Emblem games where you could never go back to grind or buy equipment.

There is a bug in this game. When you try to swap items between your characters during the mission, it hard crashes the game. There is no fix, there is probably no intention of fixing it from the devs. The only real fix is to go downloading mods and going into the code. The game seemed really fun but on the 3rd mission I encountered this bug and after looking around on the discussion, I saw that this bug is well known and hardlocks the game on a later mission.

After searching the forums for a fix for the horrid resolution, found there is a gamebreaking bug that has yet to be fixed I refuse to perform registry edits to fix something the devs should have fixed. Requesting refund

there is a Trading bug from an old version of the games engine which causes a game crash when trading items with an empty slot, it has never been fixed the game seems abandoned by the developers, so i can't recomend it unless you have a virtual machine with older versions of windows, i can't recommend the game, because of the bug but man when it works it's gooooood

Excelent Fire Emblem game, one of my all-time favourites. It is hard, has a little trick near the end that forced me to restart from begining. Very hard and has an even harder difficulty with 1 save every 5 turn as a leniency to make it even remotely beatable compared to the old era games.
