Had been looking forward to this since the original pitch, but the gameplay elements feel at odd with each other, and it has too many pain points to be enjoyable.

[/list] [h1]The Bad[/h1] [list] [*] [b]Combat is grindy and uninteresting.[/b] Enemies are HP meatbags where you'll always feel underpowered from poor power scaling and bored from the lack of interesting enemy design. [*] [b]Buggy mess.[/b] From missing inventory to game freezing bugs, the game will test your patience. [*] [b]The world is empty.[/b] Maps feel very spaced for the sake of creating a large world. You'll quickly realize how tedious it is to travel through vast empty spaces. [*] [b]Bad controls.[/b] The gamepad controls feel very dated. Inventory management, toolbar setting, crafting, and using healing items feels clunky and requires too many inputs from the controller. It's something an action wheel could help solve. [/list] [h1]Final Thoughts[/h1] [b]Re:Legend is not recommended.[/b] You'll feel like this game brings nothing new to the Harvestmoon formula.

Devs abandoned their kickstarter game to start a new one called Wild Wild Eden. Never even gave out the refunds like they promised.

I have been waiting, waiting for years. Looking over promises, over shared art and videos, posts and even a Kickstarter. All of it came to nothing. The game is unfinished, things do not even really work as they should despite them claiming it's fully playable. They abandoned this game, and have since started up another. Don't trust this game, the new one; or this whole company.

With the rise of other creature collectors, developers could revive it and create a true complete product. I truly feel like there could be funding to do it. Like I said, with the rise of many creature collectors, this one could shine through. I bought this game many, many years ago. I sunk more than 2 weeks worth of playtime (448hrs). I really would love to recommend this game. I enjoyed what I could play out of it. However, I must be positive. Play this to what the devs had completed, While I think 24.99 price tag isn't worth it anymore, the current full price, I think they could drop it to 14.99 permanently. I really wished something could be done--but, who knows, perhaps there still is.

Cute little game, I would say.
