Addictive time-waster, yes it is like bannerlord, it also reminds me a bit of an old flash game called feudalism, you can just get lost mindlessly in here for hours and not realize how time has passed, very fun.2 found this helpful

It's okay for a little fun, but I have no desire to actually finish the game. Some legacy stuff is locked behind story mode, and story mode is really, really boring. Like, really boring. One of the main quests is literally you have to either capture every single town to disband every enemy tribe, or go track down the leader of each tribe, using the general region that one of their people says they are in, and speak to them. It's really bad and really boring, I may return to play sandbox if I find a mod that lets me skip the complete story mode requirements for legacy shop. Really bad story mode, god so bad.1 found this helpful
its good relative for the price (bought at discount) and size of the game. The quest and map system sucks, its tiresome to use, you cant even directly click on objectives you have to move to nearest city. Most the things in the game are badly explained if any explanation is provided at all.1 found this helpful
