CUSTOM MECH WARS

The game is fun, it's EDF but with mech, and customisation is insane, litterally the best mech game when it come to this. To adress critics over combat being "mindless", duh, the normal difficulty is basically a "very easy" mode, go play in "very hard" and come tell again that the combat is mindless, just like in EDF. Mouvement, while not Armored core level, is quite fun depending on the legs used, the dash and flight make the mouvement very nervous and fast paced, which is cool. One negative aspect tho, the destruction is a bit lacking, not in the "can you destroy building" aspect, but more on how it look, the same could be said for the map, but the customisation compensate that. Is it worth 50$ ? .. eeeeh if you don't really value money then yes, but you can very easily find the game for less than 5$, in this case, then it's 100% worth it.

D3P has once again put almost no effort into a PC port and it's inexcusably bad here. This is a Unity engine game, there's no reason for the mouse to feel this bad, for there be very few graphic settings, to only support 3 (THREE!) resolution options, and not even include 2560x1440. The mouse has a double whammy of negative mouse acceleration AND it's emulating an analog stick. It ignores most small mouse movements. This alone is one of the main reasons I'm refunding, it completely ruins the game with how bad it feels to control. Controller isn't any better because it's extremely touchy and small movements of the analog stick makes the camera jerk around quickly. It's very difficult to do small adjustments to your aim, and even if you lower the sensitivity it doesn't help. Somehow sensitivity only really affects when you hold down on the analog stick to do a longer turn, the small camera movements/adjustments are still very fast. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE meet super robot wars series with a lot of Customization and variety of parts the gameplay reminds me playing armored core on ps1 and psp also those gundam games slow pace action

The mech building is good, the rest of the game is mid

It is uniquely recommended when you love to create mechs of any size... However, the controls are much tougher if you don't have a specific controller compatible with the game. In turn, you can create mechs with any parts you even get from missions to design based on your liking. Don't go too overboard, as you might have someone catch wind of your "charmingly" or "handsomely beautiful" G-Mechs.
