The Drifter is a pulp noir adventure where you guide Mick Carter through a breakneck conspiracy involving shadowy corporations and supernatural mysteries after he's killed, resurrected, and framed for murder. Blending classic point-and-click gameplay with fast-paced storytelling, pixel art animation, and a dark-synth score, it keeps you moving from puzzle-solving to action with barely a moment to breathe.

The Drifter is our take on a classic 2d point and click adventure, with the brake-lines cut. The focus is on fast-paced storytelling, with puzzle-solving being the glue that ties it together. Mick's a practical guy, and so puzzles are down-to-earth too, designed to be unobtrusive, and give an investigative feel. We're keeping the pacing quick and lean, you'll never be wandering around lost or confused- Mick is propelled through the story at a good clip, from one situation to another, with barely a moment to catch his breath. One minute you'll be crafting a Molotov cocktail from a bottle of over-proof rum, the next interrogating a crooked neurosurgeon before swinging from a high-rise window by a fraying extension lead.

wow what a game! I was hooked for the entire playthrough!!
If you have ever had any interest in point and click games this is a must play. It brings so many QOL features of modern games along with a truly incredible story and voice work but still has the charm of the old 90's point and click adventures. In short... BUY IT
not really sure what else needs to be said that hasn't already, but this game was a delight, worth the money
This was a very good game and I'm not the best at modern pnc adventure games but I got a lot of enjoyment out of it. Art and atmosphere and voice acting were great. It might be strange to say but the sprinkling of light profanity stands out in a really positive way for me. Brings a rare little gritty realism into it. I would give this 5/5 but I will have to go with 4 or 4.5 just because there were a couple places, really one in particular, that involved timing. I play these games to kind of relax in another place and it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when the flow is interrupted by something requiring reflexes and still not trivial puzzle logic at the same time. In that one spot it took me a while even with mostly text and a bit of vid. walkthrough. Look forward to more from the dev team.
