DIVE or DIE - Children of Rain

Good game with horror element and management of a village/divers. The water horror is nice setupp with the exploring of horror monsters while checking your fuel and gathering stuff to prolong future journeys and upgrade your village. I played with PC controls, worked pretty good. i gathered a lot of stuff before i finsihed the game, it gets progressively easier after you find stuff but still with decent horror to hold you on your edge of the seat in fear that your diver might die. Large information to the game: the idols are important and shouldnt be put onto the backburner as you unlock new specific areas by getting them. Sadly, the map is hard coded, so the replayability to see/check new stuff after you played through all is low in my opinion.

A good combination of horror, art and survival mechanic. 9/10 This one has even better potential for more.

This game is genuinely incredible! Such amazing storytelling, design, voice acting, and gameplay. Easily my favorite game of the year! Hope to see more content added to it in the future!

It's kind of like Dave the Diver, but make it suspenseful and unsettling. I believe in this game's potential in the long run because there IS more room for tons of expansions and updates.

Am I good at it? No. Is it a blast? Yes! Dive or Die hits if you don't mind a lot of failure and planning out what your intent for the next day is. The resource management side has a bit of a curve but once that's tackeled it becomes way easier to focus on the things you need for upgrades. Choosing sacrifices as days dwindle also becomes easier as the game and the deep goes on. And the deep if far larger than you'd imagine. Especially in the deck this has become something I keep coming back to explore, uncover secrets and generally have a fun but occasionally frustrating time.

A great game for a good price. Well worth the $$$
