About Ampu-Tea
You play as a recovering amputee learning to master a high-tech robotic arm through increasingly tricky tasks, starting with the deceptively simple challenge of making tea for your demanding father. It's a hilariously tense puzzle game where precision, timing, and patience are everything—one wrong move and you've spilled hot water everywhere.
What better challenge for the son of an Earl than to make tea for his father?
Good luck son.
You'll need it.

The controls are wonky (as it's meant to be) and I thought I'd be okay with but it was a bit hard for me. I didn't quite enjoy myself but I can definitely see someone else might if they enjoy games with wonky gameplay.1 found this helpful
I mean it would be fine if it was as polished as Surgeon Simulator. However rather than from complexity, this game gets its difficulty from jankiness. I cannot recommend this.1 found this helpful
Picked this up in a bundle and got exactly what I expected: a glorified Surgeon Simulator knockoff where making a cup of tea somehow feels harder than performing open-heart surgery. The physics-based robotic arm controls are deliberately clunky, and while that's kind of the point, it crosses the line from 'hilariously frustrating' into just plain frustrating pretty quickly — I spent way too long trying to grab a teabag only to watch it fly across the room the moment I let go. The highlight of my playthrough was honestly just sweeping everything off the table in a fit of rage, which the game actually rewards you for. Most achievements are easy to knock out in an hour or two, but that '500 launches' achievement is an absurd joke that no sane person should pursue. If you snag it for under a dollar in a bundle, it's worth a laugh or two, but don't pay full price for something that outstays its welcome in about fifteen minutes.

I hate it
It delivers exactly what it was intended to do, which is be very annoying. It's a relic at this point, a bad offering of the flash in the pan genre of irritating physics games. I would hesitate to even call this difficult as it's just nonsensical, brushing against the table can break your fingers rendering them useless, yet you can brush against something heavy the same way and knock it clean across the room. I am replaying it to attempt 100% (but I may abandon it as its just annoying). It shows its age as not only is it chaotic by design it's limited by technological barriers of that time. It's very buggy for this reason too, some functions become all but impossible depending on which way the wind is blowing. The controls are also 90% of the difficulty they aren't intuitive by design so you mess up more. Maybe I'm too old to tolerate something intentionally trying to irritate me in my spare time anymore. Meh.
