About Astrodle

Astrodle is an incremental space shooter that is all about collecting the essences of the Zodiac in a quest to become an immortal space god. Shoot, collect, upgrade, repeat, become a god. Sounds easy enough, right?

Shoot and Collect Essences

Your spaceship comes equipped with lasers and that’s too bad for the Blobs. Destroy as many as you can to collect Essences and make progress on your quest.

Upgrade your Ship

Your lasers are awesome but you can make them better. Spend your essences on Upgrades and take your fire power to the next level.

Revel in the Numbers

Now it’s time to take a step back and admire the chaos you have unleashed on the blobs. All these numbers everywhere, isn’t that perfect?

Complete the story

Space is vast but you are not alone. Sagittarius, Aquarius and Taurus are here to guide you through your quest to become a god. It's been a very long time since they have encountered a human but that's not a problem… right?

Beat the game

Don't you hate when you can't tell if you have finished an idle game or not? Both game modes of Astrodle have an end that can be reached in just a day when played actively. Ideal for playing lazily over the weekend.

I thought this was a pretty fun incremental game. I really appreciated the aesthetics and the (fairly simple) story, although the music felt a bit repetitive. The gameplay, which involves gaining different resources across different astrological signs, generally felt nice insofar that I could save up one resource while actively deciding where to spent others. My main annoyance from the game is that certain resources that can only be collected using a mostly autonomous methods with fairly inconsistent results. This also interferes with a couple of missions that the game has, where you are stuck between putting off particular upgrades in order to be able to satisfy the mission more easily later, but avoiding those upgrades makes collecting those same finicky resources even harder. Overall, I think this game is pretty good and is absolutely worth playing if you enjoy incremental style games in general. However, I think that there could probably be some improvements to be made, especially around some of those more annoying resources.

Fine enough idle game. I took a break for several months after just a few hours as I got bored, but when I returned to it I wound up 100%ing it. There's definitely better idle games than this one, but there's also definitely worse ones- if you want a way to kill 10-15 hours, this isn't a bad option.

The quests are sometimes kinda meh, but the game overall is fine

Colorful incremental with a slow point in progression.
