About Clockwork Sword
Slash, stab, and shoot your way through a multi-tiered museum filled with corrupted automata, customizing your weapon with the scraps of the fallen. Clockwork Sword is a thrilling isometric hack and slash, in which you utilize combinations of weapons and elements to conquer your foes.
In Clockwork Sword, every part of your weapon can be customized to fit your playstyle.
- Forms dictate the move set of the weapon and the range at which you fight.
- Charges apply devastating elemental effects and change the dynamic of combat.
- Gears add enhancements that allow you to specialize your weapon further.
From flaming spears to life-stealing Gatling guns, the choice is up to you.
The weapon of Clockwork Sword has two sides that each have their own form, element and set of gears. In the heat of combat you can switch between these modes to adapt to whatever you may encounter.
Is it worth having a balance of melee and range or should you double down on on your strengths and brute force any obstacle in your way?
Fighting enemies in Clockwork Sword will build up the pressure gauge on your weapon. When your pressure is full, switching between modes will unleash a massive special attack unique to each form. Time your weapon switches right for massive payoffs.

✦ AI summary
Players are divided on this free game, with some finding enjoyable combat mechanics and satisfying progression, but most criticizing it as boring and repetitive with an endless loop of uninspired shooting. Major technical issues plague the experience, including game-breaking bugs like permanent dodge invincibility that blocks item pickups and severe performance drops, making it feel unpolished and unplayable rather than intentionally challenging.
Unrealized potential. The game turned out to be dull. Well, it's free, right? I don't recommend it, but there's no neutral option.1 found this helpful
I want to like this, but its A buggy broken mess. horribly optimised, but more flat out unplayable, Dodging *will* lock you in I frames permenantly, rendering you unable to pick up items, and making you completely invincible, fps tanks with even a few larger enemies on screen.
This game is easy to learn and fun to play. It is a fun combat game.
Really boring. Isometric SHMUP. There's nothing except an endless loop of shooting clockwork robots.
