As a first little game, this is not too bad. It is short and simple. The controls are slightly clunky and what you need to do take a few tries to understand, but overall not a bad little experience, esepcially not for a first time release. The music was nice and mellow and the atmosphere was good.

Collapse Of The Midnight Sun is one of those small games that I liked mainly because of how cleverly it uses its limited time. I explore an island while a fusion reaction that acts like the sun begins to collapse, and each run ends with the world resetting. I enjoyed the strange combination of cozy exploration and impending disaster because the game manages to feel peaceful and tense at the same time. The time loop is the heart of the gameplay. I only have a short period to explore before everything resets, so I have to pay attention to where things are and remember useful locations. I liked this because the game turns memory into a gameplay mechanic. After seeing the island a few times, I start moving through it with much more confidence. The metroidvania style progression works nicely with the loop. Tools that I discover can open up new paths, while previously inaccessible areas become easier to reach once I understand how everything fits together. I enjoyed the feeling of slowly mapping the island in my head because each reset gives me another opportunity to use what I have learned. The island itself has a charming atmosphere. its a cute little time loop game only 2 things i wasnt happy with were the camera is not adjustable and you need to get the ability to jump by falling in a gap in the road, but all in all a cute little game with a wonderful art style

Great Game! I was surprised by how much I liked this style of gameplay! Wished It were longer so I could have explored and enjoyed more of its world.
