You play as No Man, a watch peddler caught in a love triangle with other cosmic beings, Miss Mass and Golden Boy. When your affair turns into a bitter confrontation, you will witness a gunshot fired by a jealous god—otherwise known as The Big Bang. Jump into the expanding universe and search for a way to prevent or destroy creation and save your love.
With a focus on tactile puzzles and exploration, you’ll experiment with objects in small slivers of the universe to discover how they can be manipulated to progress your journey. Dial a rotary phone; destroy a civilization; plant a garden; improvise with a musician; create life—all in your search for a way to save Miss Mass.
The Big Bang isn’t just the birth of creation as we know it, it's also a gun blast frozen in time, with the bullet speeding towards the love of your life. You’ll jump into pockets of time, explore moments throughout the lifespan of the universe, and search for a way to change the course of destiny.

Unfortunately I wasn't a big of this. I really thought I would like this simply due to art style. And while the art style is absolutely phenomenal, the gameplay is not. There isn't really any gameplay. You walk, you click/spin things to advance the story, rinse and repeat.
Pleasing to look at but very boring
This is really good! :D
This game was an absolute trip. I streamed it all in one sitting and we were all entranced. The art is gorgeous and the music is wonderful. The story is wild and metaphysical but it all kind of comes together in the end, you just got to trust the process. If artsy games aren't your thing, give this a miss. Otherwise I wholly recommend it and eagerly look forward to their next project: Nirvana Noir.

A little confusing at times but it is meant to be one of those kinds of stories where you have to interpret what is happening instead of it straight up telling you. Very abstract. I think it has a very compelling atmosphere as I'm a very big fan of the noir cliche as well as it's abstract and spacey elements. That reminds me it definitely lives up to the name "genesis" for the amount of times it brings up creation and life in the universe. There are these little segments where it just talks about space and the universe which are interesting but it can be a lot to read and they go hard with this theme near the end (that's kinda where it lost me completely, they go a little too abstract for me). The gameplay is, admittedly, kind of boring sadly. It's not a bad game by any means but not necessarily something I'd recommend or replay after playing once. I think if it had more to it would maybe be a little more fun. 5/10 game (keep in mind I am saying this long after I already played the game. My memory could be hazy and I could actually dislike it more than I think lol)
