Yo this is kinda jank, in it's current state it's beta/demo quality. Dev abandoned this one :/1 found this helpful
Nice game. Good controls, nice animation and art. The soundtrack slaps and the difficulty is also just perfect. I didn't beat it yet (I rarely play such games and thus suck), but I like it very much. I know it is short, but it's worth the 5€ or the 1€ I paid for it. Some people just expect to much from this game down here in the reviews. Bro it's 5 bucks. What do you want?1 found this helpful
Gun Crazy, developed by Ritual Games and published by GrabTheGames, is a compact yet energetic run-and-gun shooter that wears its arcade inspirations proudly. From the outset, it delivers a no-nonsense experience that emphasizes speed, reflexes, and the kind of tight gameplay loops that defined the side-scrolling shooters of the late eighties and early nineties. Instead of bogging players down with narrative or elaborate systems, it offers a streamlined focus on action, pattern recognition, and fast-paced encounters that test both reaction time and perseverance. Enemies swarm in predictable but challenging patterns, forcing you to learn when to hold your ground and when to maneuver. Boss fights in particular are a highlight, demanding memorization of attack sequences and precise timing to survive. Visually, Gun Crazy embrac…1 found this helpful
Get it on sale. I paid about 70 cents which would be like playing this 80's style arcade game three times in an 80's arcade (three quarters) but saved five cents and got to take the game home. It's a decent run 'n' gun but you have to get used to the control scheme - Right analogue is useless. The gun can be steered in eight directions using Left analogue.... which is the same stick you're using to move your character. When you want to hold still and just steer your gun, you need to hold down on the left shoulder button. You can't change controls and I am pretty sure this is intentional as the default scheme makes the game more of a challenge.1 found this helpful
I really enjoyed this game. Simple and fun mechanics. Definitely scratched a Mega Man and Contra itch. Totally recommend it!
