Guns of Infinity

Reviewing (mostly) every game (or DLC) in my library, part 422: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) My god, Paul Wang has done it again. If [i]Sabres of Infinity[/i] was a baptism by fire, [i]Guns of Infinity [/i]is the aftermath that comes after: the trauma that scars your body, your honor, and your soul. The sequel is grander, darker, and far more morally tangled, and your officer becomes a legend or a ghost buried under the weight of their own decisions. 💂‍♂️ [b]Pros:[/b] [list] [*]Narrative ambition. Guns is an exceptional piece of serialized storytelling, continuing your personal saga seamlessly from Sabres. It not only recalls ALL your choices but builds entire arcs around them. Your reputation, your leadership style, your allies, your enemies—every thread you spun in the previous game returns to either lift you up or tear you down. Few interactive novels feel this alive to your past actions. And of course, this game only builds on all that. i will have [spoiler] both [/spoiler] cazarostas on my hip as SOON as POSSIBLE! once again, very good and entertaining novel!! i love playing these entries with my friend, so i would recommend playing it with someone! the game deserves so much more discussion for how high-quality is it is. tierra and victory!

Absoluter cinema

Guns of Infinity continues from Sabres of Infinity, with the player being a cavalry commander fighting in a Napoleonic Era-like environment. After the conclusion of the first book, the player rises in rank and begins commanding a larger force while furthering their relationship with characters, both old and new. The game improves upon the formula used to make Sabres of Infinity and also builds upon it. The fallout from the climatic battle in Sabres of Infinity means that you are now promoted and given poor-quality troops along with lieutenants who are of mixed usefulness. You need to whip them into shape while fighting partisans who harass you while traveling, storming cities, and leading cavalry charges, fairly similar to Sabres of Infinity. However, the higher rank means the actions are bigger and more important than they were before. Furthermore, the story flow between incidents and battles feels much smoother than in Sabres of Infinity, as the player traveling from one battlefield to the next is itself incorporated into the story. Love this as a sequel, it builds on SOI in a really believable way; my only issue is that while the choices are 'easier' so you don't have to guide-scum as much, they seem less transparent and impactful than the first (though from what I understand this is because I'm choosing to go this route and so it can build me into being an actual lord in the third game, so a necessary evil). Looking forward to Lords and shout out Lanzerel; my favourite moment of the series happened in the final battle of this game listening to Nuns sing Gregorian Chants.
