✦ AI summary
Internal Storm is a fundamentally broken text-based adventure game that fails to function even at its most basic level, with players unable to progress past the initial menu screen regardless of input. Beyond the technical issues, the game lacks any visual presentation beyond plain text, failing to meet modern standards for PC gaming and offering little appeal even if the critical bugs were fixed.
Internal Storm is a Russian text-only adventure game (like Zork, but if Zork was badly translated, broken, and completely crap). Did I mention it's broken and unplayable? Yeah. The game launches, lets you choose English or Russian, and then halts with a "Press tab for menu" prompt. Obviously, pressing tab (or any other key, I tried), doesn't work. So it's impossible to progress through this... not that anyone wanted to, if you see the dismal, yet also comical player count below. From a technical perspective, even if you could get the game to work, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. For starters, it's text only. That's an immediate fail in the era of computer graphics. There's an ugly screen filter meant to make the game look even more obsolete... like the game looks bad enough already, but they actually went out of their way to make it look worse. There's no way to turn this off. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this ham…4 found this helpful
