Craft a powerful deck of inspirations to enhance your abilities. Draw three inspirations every turn and activate them by using corresponding skills. Choose your inspirations wisely to avoid cluttering your deck!

Discover a rich variety of handcrafted areas and add them to your kingdom through unique events where you pick the approach.

RECRUIT THE HERO YOU WANT
Each class has it's own set of unique abilities and starting weapons. Choose between the melee focused warrior who charges and stuns or the kiting ranger using their crow as dot damage. Maybe you'd rather set the world on fire with the Candlemage, spread mold to box in enemies with the Mold Druid or sneak up on people to stab them in the back with the very red Rouge?
Choose between 9 distinct classes each with their own backstory that develops as you play and impact each room you enter.

Recruit young hopeful adventurers with unique backstories.

ARM YOURSELF TO THE TEETH
Loot, buy or earn powerful new weapons. Each hero comes with 2 starter weapons, but no hero is locked in their weapon choice. Want a ranger with sword and bow, fine! Have you always dreamed of a warrior using traps and a magic staff? Go for it. Discover powerful new weapon combinations and play your heroes your way!
With 17 unique weapons and a ton of powerful artifacts you can create a myriad of creative builds.

1,471 games in my Steam library and this is unquestionably the worst of all of them, and that includes whack trash visual novels and other garbage I've received in bundles. You'll be greeted with the worst UI you can imagine and terrible clunky combat that is genuinely, laughably, godawful. I am actually going to quit my job tomorrow and tell my boss that my true calling in life is to spend the rest of my days trying to adequately describe how atrocious this game is. My wife will probably try to talk me out of it, at which point I'll just get a lobotomy so at least I'll never remember playing this.3 found this helpful

Obsidian Prince is a turn-based tactical roguelike RPG developed by Unleash The Giraffe and published by Unleash The Giraffe together with Gameclaw Studio. It combines strategic grid-based battles, procedural dungeon exploration, and deep character customization into a rewarding adventure that constantly encourages experimentation. Rather than relying on a traditional class system with fixed roles, the game provides players with an open-ended progression model where every run presents opportunities to create entirely different heroes. This design philosophy gives the game considerable replay value while allowing both newcomers and experienced strategy fans to approach combat from their own preferred style. The most impressive aspect of Obsidian Prince is its character progression. Every expedition offers new equipment, abilities, and upgrades that can dramatically reshape a build. Players are free to mix combat techniques, magical powers, defensive skills, and passive bonuses to create highly specialized or balanced characters. Instead of following a predictable upgrade path, each decision influences future encounters, making every reward meaningful. The game's inspiration system …
Poor quality Tooltips (if you even get one for anything), no explanations of most things. The basic barebones instructions don't really help playing. Very unbalanced. Several starting level areas will instantly kill you if you're not a warrior. Honestly, feel likes an early access game that was never finished.
I've just gotten started with this, but what a great game so far. Fun and entertaining combat, great music, nice graphics, and a whole bunch more to look forward to. I dig the questing system so far, building...buildings.. And being able to name my character whatever I want. I'll update this review as I play longer, but I just wanted to say first impressions are great.
