✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's charm, potential, and creative 2D design, with many appreciating the passion evident in its development. However, common complaints center on poor UI and tutorial design—particularly the control scheme that appears only once at startup with no way to reference it—alongside technical issues like crashes, clunky inventory systems, and sluggish movement that frustrate the early experience.
So I refunded the game, not because it was bad, just didn't like having to press different keys to do different things, for sleep, drop, pick up items or having to make an account and need to log in, even though i never plan to play online, I added it back to my wishlist and will keep an eye on its development. And not sure if just me but movement seemed little slow, but I can tell there is potential and love in this game.1 found this helpful
I will say, this is one of the best survival games I have ever played with this primal theme. With further development I'm sure it could become a masterpiece.
Control scheme flashes up once at the start of a new game, at which point you are expected to memorise it; after that I can't for the life of me find a way to bring the control map back up and check what button does what - with either controller or keyboard. Still dont know what button it is on a controller to use an axe to chop down a tree... uninstalled/deleted/refunded. Incredibly poor UI with terrible attempt at tutorial/explanation of even what buttons do what, let alone how to play.
crashed 7 times in the start new game loading screen before i got to play. inventory system is really annoying. other than that, pretty cool. not for me
Fun game! 10/10
A great game. I didn't expect it to be this good. A large, infinite world, tons of activities. It squeezes everything it can out of its 2D engine. And it looks great. It's clear the game was created with passion, not in a batch process like other studios.
