kicks me out of game to steam every 30 seconds. doesn't work2 found this helpful
I do not know why some of the comments are negative about this amazing game, if their issues are about managing everything to the micro and the age of the game, well, the game is aged but, still it has the features and attributes to fill the essential requirements of a railroad tycoon game, from auto trading routs to auto managements, even for train maintenance, after a couple to dozens of trips of the train, the research building allows you to update the train more than once which will allow for automatic repairs for it and for the towed carts on higher levels, in addition of train promotions, so micro management is a false comment, it is just crap, though, the game does requires a lot of focus! It really gives you the feeling that this game has exceeded its age, it was my childhood fantastic game and it is still a wonderful master piece. I have played it for 7 hours on both the campaign and the normal scenario and the game despite its age still works fine regarding the Steam version!2 found this helpful
Game begins crashing and freezing after mission 4 as the others stated - nice for a few hours but then the fun ends quickly :(1 found this helpful
Although the idea and game are nice, it's difficult to enjoy the game due to its age and micromanagement issues there is too many moving parts in the game you have to control manually its a micromanagement hell1 found this helpful
Love this classic game, it is over 20 years old and still better than a lot of todays games.
Railroad Pioneer is a game from 2003, at the end of an era when players weren't coddled, where trial and error was the way forward, the graphics are a little bad, especially compared to other games from around the same time, but still respectable, the gameplay is incredible, the music is incredible, the game is just incredible
