What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players describe JUNK as a short, directionless game with excessive backtracking, minimal content spanning only two chapters, and poor design choices like limited save points and high system demands for its quality. Beyond technical complaints, reviewers criticize the shallow sexual content, lack of challenge or genuine horror elements, and express frustration over aggressive pricing tactics, with one player noting the game was recently $10 before jumping to $200. The consensus is that the game offers little entertainment value and fails to justify its cost through gameplay or content depth.

This game was recently only $10. I refunded it because it's garbage and about 15 minutes of gameplay. Now it costs $200 dollars. I asked Google AI what the deal is. Here's the answer: The developer of Sara The Sexy Thief In The Mysterious Mansion, RareUniqueGamez, is intentionally using a known indie-dev strategy to manipulate Steam's store visibility. The astronomical price hike to $199.99 USD (and over $277 AUD) is completely legal. The developer likely changed the price for a few specific reasons:Massive Discount Exploitation: By raising the base price to $200, the developer can wait out Steam’s mandatory 30-day cooldown period. After 30 days, they can put the game on a "95% off" sale, dropping it back down to $10. Charging $200 ensures that no normal player accidentally buys and reviews it, keeping the store page locked down while they tweak it or set up their next promotional push.Asset/Bundle Inflation: Developers sometimes i…6 found this helpful
Initially I was a bit directionless not really knowing how or where to go which took a little bit of trial and error, maybe 10 to 15 minutes of figuring out how stuff worked? There's currently 2 chapters as of writing this and both chapters feature quite a bit of backtracking. There's no difficulty, slightly leaning into horror with creepy music and loud screams but nothing actually scary about it. Death means to restart and both chapters have 1 save point. There's no fun to be had here. Oddly very demanding on graphics, like why? The verbal interactions are... a thing I guess. An unwashed woman is not my cup of tea. The sexual animations are one-way, minimal movement, set duration with some voice clips. Honestly this is not worth more than 5 bucks? that's generous. Cannot recommend and refunding.4 found this helpful
