slow game and not interesting history. poor game design in map but the battle parts are nice. in discount you can try it, otherwise don't do it. edit: all it's design with the teleport in mind, that's why fells awkward the first hours. so maybe they should include this upgrade as reward in the first map when [spoiler]that person die[/spoiler]

It's just not fun The idea of a Metroidvania where you fly around and shoot enemies sure sounds original, but besides that, it doesn't do anything interesting and it just feels slow and boring, and the spell cards don't help much, specially because they are randomized from the ones you selected instead of assigning a single card to a specific button, and because they are randomized, you have to constantly look at the side of the screen while you are being attacked by enemies to know what spell you are using, which feels like a questionable design choice. Other criticism I have are the fact that there is not an option to turn rumble off if you are using controller, even tho that's an option available in pretty much every game that allows controller, and I don't understand why, did they just forget about it? It bothers me so much to play with rumble on, that's why I point that out. The art style looks fine, but the face expressions and the shape and placement of the mouth feels weird in many instances. Really cool metroidvania/bullet hell combo that looks and feels good. Pretty short game so maybe wait for a sale but overall i really enjoyed this one. 8/10

Early game is VERY GOOD with new abilities unlocking and simple story evolving, then after an annoying water level the game became STEEPLY MORE CHALLENGING with enemies and their ammo overwhelming the screen space, and with NO DIFFICULTY OPTION I was going to leave a negative review. But turned out there are BUILT IN CHEATS, so I give this a solid 7.5/10, especially since the game was on sale :) Art style is nice, controls are fluid and responsive, some ability cards are useless, story is basic with some twist, would be nice to add tags onto the map to know where need to revisit later, and ability to teleport early on. GG HF!

I hated this game. It was so easy to make this a good game, but bad game design ruined it. Stay away.
