Play as Emily, a human fugitive hiding from hostile robots in a post-apocalyptic world, uncovering the truth behind humanity's disappearance through exploration, puzzle-solving, and story-driven choices. This third-person sci-fi adventure combines atmospheric world-building with meaningful decision-making as you search for hope in a machine-ruled Earth.
You are afraid. You are forced to hide. Those who served you till recently have suddenly turned against you. Now they hunt you. They’ve kidnapped your friends and family. You have no idea where they are or what’s become of them. There is nothing you can do about it. Your only option is to hide, surviving with no hope, not understanding what’s going on around you. You are an outcast, an outlaw because you are human.
Humankind has disappeared. Robots rule the Earth now. In The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day, we saw an inventor robot named RT join a small group of like-minded machines trying to help the few surviving humans.
The protagonist of Light At The End is one of these survivors—a girl named Emily. Together with Emily, one of the outcasts, you will have to survive in a world ruled by robots, searching for clues about the human disappearance. Was it an AI gone rogue or something else altogether?

Like many have said this game showed a lot of promise. I enjoyed playing quite a few parts. The story was a good idea. There were some parts that I didn't know would end the scene, and I did not get to know the characters as well as I would have liked to. As is, the game is quite buggy. Some of the issues I've been having are the same ones I've seen people mention from 2021 and earlier. For example, missing subtitles, end credits wouldn't play therefore not letting me finish the game, I even had a clone of Park come up and screenshot it (although that bug was kind of funny). I do appreciate the presence of cute cats though, but this does need to be polished up quite a bit before giving it a better review.1 found this helpful

Despite the negative reviews, I can't call this a bad game. It's different from the first game in a way that I can't compare them, but I do find the first game more interesting. In my opinion, the human crew kind of made it feel a little generic. I feel like some themes could have been explored better and more deeply. Another thing is that some dialogue felt overextended and unnecessary. As for the mechanical part, the game still has some bugs here and there, but nothing to make it unplayable. I did love the visual aesthetics a lot though. 5/10 on my personal score, yet waiting for a continuation. Also, I can say this game was so ahead of its time with its warning about AI ethics and similar topics.
An awesome sequel for the game and it is really good. Recommended!!!
