This the second in a series of console ported retro pixel 2D platformer/twin stick shooters where you fight waves of zombies/ninjas/whatever with a variety of ballistic weapons. Fixed resolution, ugly retro pixel graphics, terrible animations accompany the weak/boring gameplay here. The action just isn't fun. The developers thought it would be great to have enemies spawn right on top of you, so you can die to RNG really quickly, too. Not worth the ridiculous AAA price of $28.95 for this ugly, lazy retro pixel bundle filler shovelware. That price must be a joke, right?

I have no idea why developers of Blood Harvest 2 increased the price of this game - before it was $3.99. Anyway, this game is not worth any price, not even during a sale with 90% discount. It's also not really a "hardcore platform game" because it's hard or anything like that, but because it does have some annoying mechanics and controls are just bad. So don't fall for it, for this price you can get a lot more, and definitely much better games like that.

1st game is really fun, 3rd game is a better rendition of the first game. This one is very different, very not fun. All the game have janky jumping but this one is a problem. If anything the first game is really damn fun!

Blood Harvest 2, developed by BekkerDev Studio and published by Artalasky, is a relentless top-down action shooter that leans heavily into raw intensity and constant pressure. It builds its experience around survival against overwhelming odds, placing players in confined spaces where enemies appear in large numbers and rarely give any room to breathe. From the very beginning, the game establishes a clear identity as something meant to challenge reflexes and endurance rather than offer a gradual or forgiving progression. The gameplay is centered on surviving waves of enemies while pushing forward through a series of levels that increase in difficulty. Movement, positioning, and awareness are crucial, as enemies tend to approach from multiple directions, forcing players to constantly adapt. Combat itself is straightforward, involving a mix of ranged attacks and close-range options, but the simplicity of the mechanics is offset by the sheer volume of threats on screen. Success often depends on maintaining control of the space around you, avoiding being surrounded, and making quick decisions under pressure. One of the defining characteristics of the experience is how it handles diffi…
