The Severed Gods

Extremely basic roguelike RPG. there's some interesting parts to it such as the npc system but over all it plays like a very generic rpg without the story which it feels like it seriously needs. not gonna be too harsh on it as it is early access but overall, its current state is not good for its price.

It feels like the whole game was done through "vibe coding". Everything feels unoptimized and clunky, but the art is clean, and the idea is amazing. I gotta say that i really enjoy playing it, but it could be SOOO much more. tldr; game sucks but is still fun, buy on sale

Another hidden game again for me its like StS with Octopath style with EXTRA feature like : [spoiler] Merging Skills & Upgrade Skill up to 10 [/spoiler] and with GOOD & Complex Battle Mechanice like [spoiler] Altitude & Fear & Hunger [/spoiler] who aim for gameplay and replaybility its here and want to wait what devs can expand this game after going out EA

Well after almost 5 hours and only making to the Southern Sanctuary twice, I can definitely say the bosses need to be nerfed. I like the sever mechanic but the issue is sometime the rng on the weakness or player skills wont allow you to "down" to get the major dps in. I will say I haven't encountered any bugs/glitches since the latest patch. Also you can quit out of a fight to main menu, this will restart you at the previous node but your items(tomes,potions,bombs hero sigil etc..) and money if used will still be gone, also if you have companions following it use up the node moves. Not sure if it's intended, maybe having a save and quit feature at towns or camps would be great addition. Looking forward to the future updates!!!

Slay the Spire style of pathing, with Octopath graphical style. The game also features its own unique aspects to it like Skill merging, Altitude, and Severing limbs off of bosses. Three full acts to play through. As of the time of writing this, you'll easily get 30+ hours of conctent to complete all of the "cursed" modes.

[h3] Negatives [/h3] The RNG of the Karma system can be frustrating, especially when stacking Virtue. [h3]Verdict [/h3]This is a fun game that has small kinks, but those don't take away much from the overall experience. The replayability is there, and the developers are constantly updating the game and taking in feedback, so get the game while it's cheap. if you gravitate towards RPGs and Roguelikes, no reason not to pick this one up.
