Strange Horticulture

Super fun! Seems less replayability than a lot of other types of games I tend to play, but the story was interesting, it had a cozy feel to it, and the puzzles were fun. There's no tutorial, so it does just drop you right in without a clear idea of what you need to do, but if you just poke around, explore, and use the "hints" on the side when you're feeling stuck, you pick up on how the game works. Not a crazy steep learning curve, but it doesn't hold your hand. Honestly, I thought it was kind of fun dropping into the game with no idea what to expect. Kind of wish I could wipe it from my brain to play through for a first time again. I lazed about with it and still completed the whole thing in about 12 hours, but I've read that other people powered through it in a shorter time. Anyway, fun diversion, I recommend it if you like puzzles, mysteries, and want to play a laid-back game with a cozy, spooky, autumnal feel to it.

The whole atmosphere and finding rare plants is very enjoyable! Personally, I found the narrative flat and stereotypical of this genre.

went on a camping trip recently & didn't miss anything about my day-to-day life, except for playing this game. it's so easy to pick up, put down, ponder on, then come back. love the art style, love all the sounds & it'd comfy, gloomy ambiance <3

Beautiful game. There has been one mystery that I absolutely had to go on to the web to find the solution - the clue appeared for a while, then when I didn't recognize it at the time I wasn't able to go back and relook at the clue - so even using the hint in the game was of no help.
