FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

I recognize that this game is not what a lot of original fans of the 1997 game would want, and i cant speak to that as I've never played the og FF7 game. But rebirth is definitely a top 10 game to me. It improves so much over remake intergrade and I absolutely love the story and the world. Rebirth improved so much of the combat from remake intergrade like the aerial combat (which was non existant in remake), synergy skills, and added a bunch of cool looking new skills. I also love the characters and their relationships with each other. And the world is so colorful and fun. One complaint thats very common is that the minigames are increased to an absurd amount. I definitely would agree that the minigames are ramped up by an insane amount in rebirth but I didn't mind it as much. As someone who has played a lot of action adventure games, playing rebirth refreshes the burnout a lot, cause the combat itself was already very different but you get breaks in the minigames, and the minigame selections are mostly unique. This game gets a lot of hate, and some of it is true. Rebirth can be really bloated/crammed full of "useless" things to do. But for me, thats what makes it so good. It truely feels like your exploring a true world. The story, characters, world, and music are all some of the best that I've ever experienced. Way better than Remake (still a good game). I did cry at the end (idk why)

To think Advent Children was the first final fantasy i've ever exposed to and to finish this game and actually loving it, is a fate bound to happen. The world, the pacing, the characters, writing, everything just makes me fell in love harder to FF7 as a whole. The combat system and the fluidity of it really improves from Remake. It's just scratch my brain, it's addicting and satisfying. I can't wait for Revelation. Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie the whole playthrough again. Aerith, im gonna do you proud.

Game got carried by the Final Fantasy title. Full of annoying mini games, specially chapter 11. Whoever designed these things should be banned from game designing.

This remake is how I want to revisit older games. Every detail has been expanded upon and feels lively. It's beautiful. If you find the game too bloated, skip the side quests, turn on easy mode, and just play. No matter how you play I think it's incredible and I am excited for Revelations. Also PC performance was choppy at times, but since release, they've fixed the performance issues a lot. Still a few hitches, but much better than release.
