Great game, fun storyline so far
A flawed average game. Has a few minor good parts and a lot of bad for an ultimately middling experience. The world is kinda flat and plain, sometimes feeling too annoyingly large. Dialogue is quirky and the banter between characters is nice. The story has a few enjoyab beats but is otherwise nothing special and just a typical fantasy adventure. Combat sucks. Camera is awful, targeting is a pain, controls are terrible, bosses are extremely spongey. There's so many small details to combat that just make it a slog. It feels like a very paint by numbers design. They went overboard in designing the systems relating to combat outside of it (classes elemental plots etc) but it feels like a hassle in decision making. The upside is that the sound track is pretty good.
