It’s not fun. It leans heavily toward micromanagement, and the survival aspect feels side-lined. There are a few tedious elements, such as having to remember or look up which character has the best attributes for a certain task, or having to drag and drop people regularly. The RNG system was probably added to make the gameplay feel less repetitive or monotonous, but it also brings some frustration. For example, two people doing the same thing can sometimes lead to either a positive or negative relationship increase.

I've lost count how many times I've installed and uninstalled this game because of how frustrating it is. I probably did 8 runs in total and the longest I've survived was 25th day I think. It doesn't feel like a strategy game, but more like pure luck. The results you get every run doesn't make sense at all. Examples: 1. I have a character that could 100% explore an area in 1 turn with just her exploration skill at 60%, but after I maxed out her skill, her exploration progress is now only at 15-20% per turn. What??? 2. I have a character with 30 stealth skills. Yet every time I sent him for scavenging his stealth shows at 17-20% and always gets attacked. Then, I have another character with 60 stealth points and still gets attacked. What's the point in spending skill points to stealth if it will just all be based on chances? 3. The relationships between the characters doesn't make sense either. 2 characters could get a +8 heart points and a -5 on the same day. If it happened in a span of two days and they had an argument overnight that would be understandable but on the same day? Make it make sense. 4. And why does fishing causes depression? It should reduce it because it gives th…

I like story game, I like visual novel, I love management. This have it all. But it's pretty monotonous after you already grasp the mechanics. And there are no other way to fasten the progression other than grind. But all in all, for free game, I'm going to buy the sequel :)
