Story:
With nowhere else to go, Arisaka Shiori took a job at Mihama Academy. Now, three months have passed since she started her somewhat special position as a teacher at the "school of assassins".
While she has tried her best to adapt to her new surroundings - and it seems like her students have finally accepted her - her teacher evaluation is not quite so agreeable.
"She's, uh, unusually modest, and a bit clumsy. But she's sincere, and she tries her best at everything she does..."
"I think she makes a great teacher, but that alone isn't going to keep her at Mihama."
Arisaka sees this harsh dose of reality as an opportunity to take an objective look at herself, delving deep the truth through conversations with her students. However, a certain nightmare continues to plague her like an illness...
A girl, whose family has been branded murderers, closes her heart like a cocoon...

i dont know who thought increasing price by 100%-300% would be a good marketing strategy but i gotta do what i can do by leaving a negative review to discourage people from spending money on these games7 found this helpful
A competent and fun VN, really showing off the strengths of the series with its character writing, and still suffering the flaws of the Phantom Trigger series in wanting to be ero yet settling for tame ecchi. Probably the weakest entry so far, but thats not due to a lack of competent writing, and more that it does......nothing for Arisaka's character, as this backstory should be what adds that little bit of steel she kind of desperately needs in her spine. Yet it is the start of Inohara and Taiga's dynamic, which is adorable as ♥♥♥♥.

Decent story, cute girls, no sex, ecchi
Calling this volume a .5 is a bit insulting. It's true there is no big event pushing the plot forward but it does contain some backstory for a few characters. Mainly Arisaka but also for most of the other cast as well. Skipping this would be a poor decision if you've enjoyed the rest. Time wise it is about the same as the rest. About 3 hours for a fast reader (I fell asleep for about an hour). It does have much less CGs though then the normal volumes. Not worth $15 but the bundle is a good price. Use Magpie to upscale the game and it looks incredible.
Vol 5.5 is a welcome addition to the series, and its quality is up to par with its predecessors. The art and voice acting are excellent as usual, and I imagine if you're reading this, you've already played the first five episodes already and like what you've played.
