About Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol.7
"Grisaia: Phantom Trigger" is a visual novel. More specifically, it is a kinetic novel, without any branching routes. Returning character artist Akio Watanabe and writer Ryuta Fujisaki bring you the latest installment in the acclaimed Grisaia series, "Grisaia: Phantom Trigger".
With the story entering its final, climactic chapters, volume 7 has over twice the amount of content compared to previous volumes!
Story:
As daily life goes on unchanged, the girls continue to sharpen their fangs in silence.
Even Haruto seems to be preparing for an inevitable showdown, as he takes up his sword again.
Echoing voices call out to them from far away.
All units of SORD and CIRS are summoned for a mission of unprecedented scale. Their enemy: the religious organization "The Fatal Answer", or "TFA", where Enishi and Kuroe eagerly await a climactic confrontation.
Meanwhile, Arisaka Shiori finds herself in two minds. As a teacher and staff member, and as a human being, should she allow her students to jump headfirst into this battle, or should she forbid it? Their fate lies entirely in her hands...
"Do you not have anything you'd want to protect no matter what, even if you had to kill for it?"
"This small notebook will probably end up serving as a memento of my life."
"Keep in mind that this lesson will save lives one day!"
"If there was a child fighting for the enemy, would you shoot them?"
"I hope you won't regret this..."
"It can't be any worse than to regret doing nothing."
What sort of scenes will Arisaka be met with on the battlefield, where sparks of conflict are flying left, right and center?
"I've already gone through hell and back several times, so I figured that nothing could be worse... But now I realize that the levels of 'hell' I've been dragged through weren't even all that hellish."

i dont know who thought increasing price by 100%-300% would be a good marketing strategy but i gotta do what i can do by leaving a negative review to discourage people from spending money on these games7 found this helpful
I don't know why people don't like volume 7. It has its own special atmosphere and interesting events. The previous volumes were about the stories of individual characters, but this time the characters are combined together. And this is something new for Phantom Trigger. Personally, I find it interesting to see how all the characters work together. Yes, this volume is not as active as the previous ones. Here things happen slowly. And this is good, because in this way we can convey in detail the atmosphere of places and events that meet us in this volume. And this is where things start to get more serious. I love the idea of some crazy cult with a bunch of big guys. It's cool and funny at the same time. There are many new antagonists that we get to know gradually. The result is a volume that can be described as preparation for something great. And that preparation is leading us into volume 8, where it all ends. Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol.7 is a substantial entry in Frontwing’s long-running Phantom Trigger saga, continuing the post–Grisaia universe with a darker, more urgent tone. Developed by Frontwing and published internationally by Frontwing USA, this installment pushes the narrative toward its climactic confrontation, expanding both the scale of the conflict and the emotional stakes for its cast. As with previous volumes, it is presented as a kinetic visual novel, meaning there are no branching paths or player-driven choices; instead, the experience unfolds as a carefully structured, linear story designed to deliver maximum narrative impact. By the time Vol.7 begins, the members of SORD (Social Ops Research and Development) are no longer simply students balancing daily life with covert operations. The looming threat of The Fatal Answer, a radical organization whose ideology has driven much of the overarching conflict, becomes impossible to ignore. What once felt like isolated missions now converge into a broader, coordinated campaign that demands sacrifice and resolve. The story places particular emphasis on preparation—both tactical and emotional—as the characters confront the real…1 found this helpful
A competent and fun VN, really showing off the strengths of the series with its character writing, and still suffering the flaws of the Phantom Trigger series in wanting to be ero yet settling for tame ecchi. A good set up for the final resolution, but it is starting to drag a bit.
Decent story, cute girls, no sex, ecchi
Volume 7 is the longest so far at around 6.5 hours for a fast reader. Overall I am extremely disappointed for the first time. We finally got a glimpse of what the actual story was going to be in volume 6 but almost nothing happens here. The first 11 chapters (about 2 hours) are wasted on Arisaka going back and fourth trying to decide if the girls can go off to combat. Once we finally get past that Arisaka has the brilliant idea of joining them in an active war zone. Of course she is then ultra annoying the whole time pushing her ideals and worries on everyone. The girls are all like super heroes nothing phases them and the whole situation is ridiculous. Ultimately nothing really happens until the very end and even that is interrupted. Again the author masturbates over their knowledge of guns and bikes instead of writing a compelling story. The increased price did not lead to a better produce. Easily the worst of them all. Use Magpie to upscale the game and it looks incredible.
