awful UI, poor controller support, for infinitely generated open worlds, you just get a small play area, there's a good experience that can come from this if it had polish past alpha there was potential in the movement and there is enjoyment that can be taken from it when you get used to the movement, unfortunately that doesn't outweigh the many issues and bugs with this game

I am torn because what's here is pretty fun but it's so basic at the same time and limited that...I can't remember if I got this for free or not but I do hope if I paid it was very little XD I'm not gonna refund it to be nice if I did buy it but if you just want a parkour simulator to run around in a single map that changes slightly every time you are reborn? Then it's okay enough if you pick it up real cheap dood. Full review? I mean you double jump, slide, (for some reason?) glide or rails, run on walls, dash, use a cloth to fling yourself higher on weird floating objects and slow down time all to collect 200 orbs of light to reincarnate under a tree and that's it really, there is no more to that and the areas looks the same visually each time outside of the platforms, walls and objects being shifted about dood. I feel something is there with this and at least another two areas and maybe the skies showing a change in time and season could have made this more enjoyable to collect all those orbs over essentially a restart each reincarnation but otherwise it's just what it is dood. [h1] Very smooth and fun, but limited [/h1] Great game to play while listening to a podcast or music, and can be very relaxing, if you like these types of games. I would highly recommend it if you do, at the cheap price point. My main issue with the game is ironically also what the intention with the game was, it's too relaxing with no variety and not really any goals, which is to say the game is so much fun it's a real shame it isn't even BETTER! I would LOVE to see a change of scenario, different colours to jump around in, maybe change things around a little more after each level. Variety basically, is sorely missing. But do get the game, it's fun.

[b]Despite the fun parkour experience Satori at full price is not worth a recommendation given it lacks any form of variety in the procedural generation of levels, the visuals are unchanging and the promotional material on the steam store is outdated and inaccurate presenting content that is non-existent or extremely rare (I'm being generous), that being buildings, tori gates, grass etc...[/b] [h3]Procedural Generation & Style[/h3] The levels are made of a grey base, floating platforms & color-coded parkour terrain unique to the mechanics. There are pentagon jump pads on the floor & in the sky, red walls (no particles) that can be wall ran that also feature a yellow grind rail, yellow orbs (not blue) for your grappling hook and yellow grind rails that are used to gain speed & momentum. Having played through 7 levels (3.5 hour’s worth) the procedural generation sucks, each level I played seemingly shared the same wall running & platform placement and there were no appearances of Tori Gates or variety in location.
