✦ AI summary

Devil's Hunt has straightforward combat with decent demon power mechanics and atmospheric presentation that reminds players of games like Prototype and God of War, though it's held back by significant technical issues including crashes during cutscenes, poor optimization causing frame rate drops mid-combat, and the fact that the game appears abandoned, making it difficult to run properly for many players. The linear level design and heavy reliance on cutscenes also limit gameplay variety, though some players appreciate its dark, uncommon aesthetic enough to recommend it despite these flaws.

I recommend this game it is very straightforward the combat is actually good and you can swap between two different demon powers no side quest or anything would've liked it but I understand the game is still pretty good voice acting and the story so far has been good so I would so 8.5/10
I wish steam didn't ask "Do you recomend this game"
I liked Devil's Hunt. It reminded me a lot the game Prototype. All that darkness, red and... flesh. The vibe is quite the same. Gameplay wise they are totaly diffrent, this one's a linear game after all, But if I liked it, why I choosed Don't recommend? Well... this game's abandoned and because of that making it work is not as simple as just press play. And no game that demand more than that will get a pass from me. After all not everybody will just take time to look for solutions that works. (For me it took 3 hours to make it launch and even then I had to skip one cutscene couse it made my game crash every time.) Let's go back to the game itself though. The world and setting are uncommon. All games now are about heroses and "Let's save the world" idioticity... it's getting boring. I miss the times Devs had more freedom to choose settings. The star of this game is story of course. We're playing as a Desmond and will be put though hell. Plus while there we'll try to outsmart Lucyfer himself. Sigh.... sadly the Devs aren't here anymore and the story will never be finished. [strike]I'm lucky to be Polish so I can …

It’s good, not great. First, the game’s sound is pretty good. The music choices, ambient noise, and sound effects fit perfectly. Visually, the game sets the mood just right. The effects and fire are all done very well. The game’s controls are good enough, though I’m not a fan of RB and RT being the main attack keys. It’s not a deal breaker, though. The gameplay itself is fairly straightforward, and the maps are pretty linear, which leaves a lot more to be desired. The amount of cutscenes makes this feel more like the creators should have just made a TV show rather than a game. Like others in the comment section, this game does crash. Not to the point where you can’t finish the game, though. At least for me, I noticed it only happened during two specific cutscenes. When the game would crash to desktop, I would reload the game, enter that specific cutscene, skip it, and the game would run normally again. Some of the boss fights are a little tedious, and the bastards can leave you stuck in an animation lock while they strip your HP away and kill you. As for replay value, I would say this game is a one-and-done type of game. At around 6 hours of gameplay, I had beaten the game. The…

If "it ain't much, but it's honest work" was a game for people that like edgy s$ht this is it. Needed to use frame gen and force directx12 etc so it can run smooth, has some jank here and there, but I'd pick this over God of laundry anytime. "Thats right son, we do infact have God of war at home." 10/10 would hunt devils again
