About Elohim Eternal: Exodus
Overthrow the corrupt emissary of the Kingdom of Heaven in this turn-based RPG with visual novel storytelling. This free game takes place a thousand years before the events of Elohim Eternal: The Babel Code. Before the Idinites and Cainites, there were the Misru and Simru, based on ancient Egyptian mythology.
Play the role of Moshe, Misru prince and archon slayer, as he encounters a young girl who never ages and who calls him the Deliverer. With the help of a priestess and a half-archon, half-human sorceror, Moshe will challenge the corrupt rulership of the man he once called brother and free his people from bondage.
Experience a new free storyline that will further enrich the lore and history of Elohim Eternal!
Fight enemies using styles! Exploit weaknesses, taunt and debuff enemies, buff allies, and decimate your foes!

Enjoyable story with some interesting characters. Based around biblical story of Moses and the Pharaoh but told in a different way. Meant to be set between Elohim Eternal 1 and 2, like 1.5 in the series, but story is before first game. It's good starting point for the series followed into Prologue then into Elohim Eternal. Combat isn't too challenging but still need to be on your toes, not healing could either lead to character death or surviving by skin of your teeth. Combat systems is very different to Prologue / Elohim Eternal but not in a bad way. I believe more developer trying out new ideas and seeing what works as he goes along in the series. Worth a try (Also free), 2 to 4 hours worth of game depending on how fast you read and how good you're at the combat system.4 found this helpful
The story of Moses, retold through a lens of Gnosticism, Egyptian Mythology, and Xenogears inspiration. I'm always down for that sort of concept, and it fits perfectly in the 2.5 hour visual novel/JRPG hybrid package. Elohim Eternal: Exodus is in the same universe as the first Elohim Eternal and serves as a prequel to the second, but I'd imagine it stands on its own plenty well. The writing is a bit blunt and without subtlety at times, but being a retelling of a Biblical story, it actually works quite well. Combat is surprisingly difficult, asking you to make use of all of your buffs, debuffs, healing, and such to get through many of the battles. Every battle is made to be challenge and the game is happy to let you retry or even skip each battle without loss of progress. The art is a bit amateurish, but the designs are evocative, which is more important for my money. It's a free and the concept alone is easily worth the 2.5 hours. Definitely worth a spin if the idea appeals to you!2 found this helpful
I enjoyed this one immensely and it really added to the setting of Elohim Eternal in intriguing ways. It tells a great self contained story that's familiar to those who know the story of Moses but has enough differences to still make it a fun ride and leave the player guessing how everything will turn out. Having played the other games I really appreciated the new nuggets of lore we got. As for gameplay, I honestly found the combat system in the last games enjoyable enough, but I was definitely playing more for the story. And while the same is true here, combat has improved immensely and seems in general faster than it did in prior entries. This is absolutely a series that deserves a lot more love. Its clearly a passion project and that passion shines through in each part of it. Give it a shot; its short and you can't beat the price.2 found this helpful
