They can also assist outside of battle, such as allowing the player to glide through the air. Pods can be enhanced throughout the game, with upgrades including new attack methods and variations.

NieR: Automata is one of those gems you know will surprise you, but you're never really prepared for it. It's a work that redefines itself perpetually and ubiquitously, full of strange decisions that somehow come together in an incredible way. I can't even imagine how Yoko Taro came up with the use of certain diegetic elements; it's plainly brilliant.2 found this helpful
NieR Automata: I first bought this game because people said that Stellar Blade has some similarities, so, without thinking, I bought this game. This game is great; the gameplay feels nice, the composer is the same as Stellar Blade's, so the music is amazing, the story is wonderful and the characters are lovely. The game is fabulous; it obviously has things that I don't really like. Not every game is perfect, but this doesn't deny that the game is incredible. The only thing that I don't really like is the ending system because I got confused at first. I know, I'm stupid. Anyways, I highly recommend this hack and slash, an excellent game!1 found this helpful

ngl the story (or at least the writing) is just trash, like, i get what its trying to say but everything is just so weird and does not make sense at all. combat is not even good since its made by platinum games. and yea most of the time i just gooned to 2b
a never ending game...i am truly astonished by the gameplay and story telling this game consists... the fact that there are 3 stories in different perspectives?! it doesn't feel repetitive. 2B is straight forward, 9S' story is cut in half to avoid repetition. However, the last story...WOW... i had such a hard time putting the remote down for this game!--you know the last time i played a game and i couldn't put the remote down?! lol you have to play the 3rd story, i didn't want to at first i thought i got the point but not at all...like...WOW (little bit of a headache--but WOW!). ADVICE TO PLAY: 2B is COMBAT 9S is HACKING (its stated several times in the game) 2A is ...you'll figure that out.. stock tf up on heals at all times, save like crazy. if you die you get punished! idk what else to say...the game is well worth your time and money!
