The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

Its a simple and fun game, very much enjoyed the ability to play co-op with my wife as Faie. It ended up becoming a It takes Two situation at times (aka she loved teleporting me off cliffs and speed boosting me into walls when she felt like it). Overall, really fun, almost done with the True Ending on Very Hard mode and would recommend for sure.

Great story, music, art style and gameplay!

This game is such an amazing combination of The Legend of Zelda, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger into a unique package with a powerful story that holds its own. For those who have nostalgia for the top-down action-RPGs of the 90s or are looking for an experience they may have been born too late for, The Adventures of Elliot is a top-notch game.

I loved it. The story is amazing. Gameplay is amazing. For those saying that the levels are copy pasted - it's time travel to the same zones. It's to be expected. Getting fatigued warping from time to time. Take a break and come back to it. It's well worth it.

Nothing but love for this game. After the normal ending, I thought to myself, “That was a really good game. A nice, fun Zelda-ALttP-like adventure.” But the game had already hinted to me that this wasn’t the real ending. I was still in the mood for more, so I reloaded my save and went for the True Ending—and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the game really takes it up a notch there, elevating it from “good” to “fantastic!” I got goosebumps several times when all the plot points - some of which you don’t initially realize are that important, or have already forgotten by the end - suddenly came together and revealed the true picture. Even though a time-travel theme always gives me a bit of a headache as a plot device, the story - alongside the smooth gameplay - is truly the heart of the adventure. At first glance, the game looks like an old-school Zelda clone: You have blood drops instead of hearts, which you can expand with enough shards found in shrines and sometimes in chests. You clear palaces full of little puzzles, find new items and abilities that gradually let you reach new locations, blow up cracks in the walls with bombs to uncover caves - a tried-and-true formula, in other words.
