✦ AI summary

NORSE: Oath of Blood receives mixed reviews from players, with praise for its strong story, atmospheric storytelling, historically accurate details, excellent music, and visceral combat, but held back by significant technical issues including a game-freezing bug early on, clunky movement mechanics, and performance problems. Players appreciate the historical setting and character management elements but note the game feels linear with limited player choice and exploration, and some suggest it's best experienced when willing to overlook its rough edges rather than at full price.

The game doesn't even work. On top of the horrible movement this game uses to maneuver around the game doesnt even actually work. You will get to a point near the start of the game when you have to go join a feast and when you get there the game just freezes and thats the end of them game. Cant fix the freeze and you cant get around it, ending the game at the start of the game. Leveling is retarded, explorationg is non existent and you make little to no choices in this game its all made for you and you just run the same path everyone else is made to run. Game sucks bad. Waste of $25 as it should have been free to play. The devs straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyone who bought this game.

There are some technical bugs, but I really liked the story and atmosphere itself. And thank God there are no dragons or any other nonsense. I finished in 30 hours. I recommend it.

I really enjoyed this game. To start, I want to praise the largely historically accurate costumes, armor, and weapons. The music is a 10/10, facial animations are fantastic, and the combat is raw and bloody. The voice acting ranges from great to average. The story is standard and fits the setting and time period well, but what sets it apart is the good storytelling and even better cutscenes. Managing the village and hirdmen is interesting, though I wish I could have enjoyed the view of everything we built and a little more depth. Every fan of this historical setting should play it. Also, listen to the audiobook prequel. I hope we get a sequel covering raids on the lands of Rus or Britain, as Whale Rider suggested. Yes, there were a few bugs, but nothing gamebreaking and I didn't run into any of the performance issues that people are mentioning.

story is good, keeping me involved, grafics are good, feel its a bit linealy not a enough wobble room, (I like open world ) i feel dristributing your npc's to constructing and farming , gathering etc would me more challenging, not comfortable with movement, I ahve always had trouble with this system , ty

If you're willing to put up with a bit of jank, not always great performance, and the rare weird line of dialogue, then I absolutely recommend this game. It was a lot of fun with a simple but strong story.

Great graphics, love the decision making turn after turn. The story is very good and not too complex.
